Ghogha-Surka Lignite Mine covers an area of 1355 hectares and cover land of villages : Thordi, Surka, Rampar, Alapar of Bhavnagar Taluka and villages Badi, Hoidad, Padva and Malekvadar of Ghogha Taluka. The area lies between Latitudes: 21° 26' 00 to 21° 38' 45" N and Longitudes 72° 11' 55" to 72° 15' 00"E. This block is about 26 km away from Bhavnagar District Head quarter and 10 km from Ghogha Taluka. The site can be approached from Bhavnagar Transa and Bhavnagar- Koliyak Road.
Ghogha-Surka Lignite Mine is designed for production capacity @ 2.25 Million Tonne per Annum and is catering the fuel requirement of 500MW Bhavnagar Lignite Thermal Power Project.
The Ghogha-Surka Lignite Mine has received various mine safety awards and having NIL injury frequency rate.

Khadsaliya-I Lignite Mine covers an area of 711.4247 hectares and covers land of villages Khadsaliya, Lakhanka and Thalsar of Bhavnagar Taluka and Morchand of Ghogha Taluka. It lie between Latitudes: 21° 31' 25" to 21° 33' 15" N and Longitudes 72° 13' 30" to 72° 14' 55" E.. This block is about 26 km away from Bhavnagar District Head quarter and 10 km from Ghogha Taluka. The site can be approached from Bhavnagar Somnath or Bhavnagar- Koliyak Road
Khadsaliya-I Lignite Mine is designed for production capacity @ 1.00 Million Tonne per Annum and will be catering the fuel requirement of 500MW Bhavnagar Lignite Thermal Power Project.
